An independent school for you people on the Autism Spectrum located in Redland City. We helped supply, configure and install their IT infrastructure to improve their physical security and IT network.

An independent school for young people on the Autism Spectrum located in Redland City, Queensland. Catering for children from prep to Year 10, the school’s aim is to improve life quality outcomes through specialist education. The school provides a safe and inclusive, autism-friendly learning environment with programs supported by allied health professionals, aimed at achieving personalised learning goals and academic progression 

We conducted an IT strategic review which identified areas of concern. We successfully implemented the following projects to address these :

• Telecommunications restructuring project including supply/configuration of IP phones. (Major cost savings were achieved)
• Procurement and configuration of IoT temperature and humidity sensors
• Supply and configure Low Power, Wide Area Network connection for IoT device
• Network rebuild project including factory reset and setup of firewalls and creation of new VLAN networks
• Installed twelve new CCTV cameras (including network cabling and connection)
• Created and assigned new network policies for staff and students
• Hardware procurement including laptops and accessories
• Supply, configure, and connect Yealink cloud phone systems (including voice plan and support)
• Conducted a strategic review and created IT roadmap
• Decommissioned old server room equipment
• Commissioned server room including installment and configuration and testing of racks, UPS, Sophos firewalls, network switches, PABX, server
